Why this site exists
If you run a barbershop, a salon, a massage practice or a tattoo studio, your booking app is the most important piece of software you own. It holds your calendar, your clients and — more and more — your payments. Picking the wrong one is expensive, and switching later is painful.
Most "best booking software" lists are written by the software companies themselves, or are a thin rewrite of their marketing pages. We wanted something plainer: real prices including the fees on top, an honest note on who each app is not for, and a clear date on every fact.
Who we are
Booking Software Reviews is run by a small editorial team. We research every product from public sources, ask vendors to confirm what we found and keep each page dated. You can read exactly how in how we review.
What we cover
Software for booking client appointments in the US: barbershops, hair salons, nail and lash studios, spas and med spas, massage therapists, tattoo studios, pet groomers and solo professionals. We don't cover employee shift scheduling or B2B meeting schedulers.
